Food wise it is actually good. We were here around dinner time (8pm) and no line. I think if you wait for dimsum in the morning then it gets crowded and long wait times. Anyway, the food itself is good. But it is on the pricey side. At one point, one of the waiters was convincing us to buy their last alaska crab at a 'discount' rate of $65/ lb but the crab was about 5-6lbs so that would've been an easy $300-400. But he also did mentioned it'll be good for like 4-5 crab dishes so i dunno i mean we didn't go for it. Because the only reason he was persistently selling the crab to us was because they were changing the aquarium water the next day. Parking wise- they do have a parking lot but definitely shared with the Asian grocery store so it'll easily get crowded. I love their eggplants and fried rice though definitely good! The restaurant ambiance does promote family style eating with their big tables and lazy susans. So definitely good for a party.

Bellevue has a welcome newcomer to the dim sum scene with an established, cross border transplant from Vancouver B.C. These were some of the highlights from our meal... - Pan fried daikon cake -- Fresh radish flavor. No greasy aftertaste. - Beef rice noodle roll -- Great balance of filling and noodle. Delicious cilantro forward beef filling. - Malaysian style sponge cake -- Moist cake with good sugar caramelization flavor. - Shrimp har gow -- Fresh shrimp cooked well to bouncy texture. - Fried taro balls with pork -- Higher ratio of filling to taro. Good level of crispiness, but retained more oil flavor from the frying process. - Steamed BBQ pork bun -- Good bread texture with a really flavorful filling. - Fried sesame ball -- Enormous and as big as your head! Fun marketing gimmick, but misses the glutinous texture that makes it great (although the flavor was pretty good). In comparison to other cities, this was my verdict... - Richmond/Vancouver B.C. -- Quality is on par with many places there, but the higher price point likely wouldn't survive with so much competition. - Bellevue -- Among the best in the area. - Portland -- No comparison. Just make the drive up north. Overall, the quality of the food was done quite well and I will definitely be back with my family to enjoy some good eats!

This is a younger (and bougie-er) version of the Richmond's famous dim sum restaurant. Glad they have Yelp waitlist or we might have not got in before lunch time dim sum was over. Yes, they are popular, they are busy, and they serve great quality food. We tried siu mai, shrimp dumplings, wanton with chili oil, daikon turnip cake, stuffed eggplant, and tripe. Egg tart for dessert too. All dish was seasoned with a traditional Cantonese style, and they were delish. Beautiful decor in this establishment too - high ceilings, nice cupboard walls displaying beautiful teapots - it is luxurious. Service was attentive at first, then slowed waaaay down towards the end. We waited for 15+ minutes just to get the server to our table for a check even though more than 1/2 of the tables were empty (as they were wrapping up the dim sum hours)... I will return for eggplant dish and for the egg tarts- those were my favorites.
